It's Blooming Tea!

Some time ago I was gifted with several blooming teas and a glass teapot. I couple of the teas didn't turn out quite...as the picture looked. I won't lie, some looked, well, like a swamp in the pot. Oh, I still drank them, and they were delicious! Just not very visually appealing. But tonight one bloomed quite beautifully.

The picture really doesn't do it justice. I got three very lovely cups of tea out of it. I eventually pulled it out of the pot and let it sit on a plate. I actually got a handful of compliments about how pretty it was.

And not to waste, it joined my other tea leaves in a special compost pile. It came from the earth, it returns to the earth with my thanks.
